Organizational Contracts
Do you provide in-person support?
Yes depending on the geographical location in-person support may require a travel fee.
What size business do you work with?
We will work with any size business. We are happy to lend our services to larger companies, start-ups, individuals, and/or departments.
Will our information stay confidential?
Yes. Everything you share is kept strictly confidential, and I'm glad to work under your NDA or provide one of mine.
I protect that further with category exclusivity: I take on only one client per industry at a time, and I won't work with a direct competitor for one year after our contract ends. That removes any risk of conflict of interest. (The term "industry" is defined at time of contract creation via a mutual discussion.)
How do we get started?
It begins with a discovery call. We talk through the work, the gap you're trying to close, and what success would actually look like. From there I send a proposal with scope, timeline, and pricing. Once we agree and the contract is signed, we begin.
The call is as much about fit as anything. No pressure or obligation up front to explore what working together would look like.
Who owns what we build?
You do. Every deliverable: storyboards, facilitator guides, learner materials, culture workshops, assessments, is built from scratch for your organization and becomes your property on delivery. I won't post, sell, or reuse your custom materials under my name.
The one thing I retain is my own pre-existing methodology and framworks, the underlying approach and tools I bring to every engagement. Those stay mine to reuse, the same way you'd expect any expert to keep their craft. If you ever want rights to those too, we can negotiate that into the contract in advance.
What is an I/O Psychologist?
Industrial Organizational Psychologists apply psychological principles and scientific research to help business leaders increase productivity and meet their goals. They do that by analyzing the employees overall work environment and optimizing it for the success of both the employee and the business. An I/O Psychologist is the bridge between employee wellbeing and organizational prosperity!
Frequently Asked Questions
Will you reference our work publicly?
Only in the way you're comfortable with. By default I may describe an engagement anonymously, for example, "a national retail onboarding build", without naming you or sharing your materials.
If you would prefer I not reference it at all, that's your call and goes in the contract. A named testimonial or case study is always opt-in, never assumed.
How long does a project take?
It depends entirely on scope. A focused onboarding track is very different from a multi-role training system or an organization-wide culture initiative.
You'll get a realistic timeline in your proposal, after the discovery call.
How much of our team's time will this require?
Far less than building it yourselves but not zero. I'll need access to your subject-matter experts for interview, and a point person to review work at agreed milestones. The more responsive those touchpoints are, the faster we move.
I'll map out exactly what I need from you in the proposal, so there are no suprises and nothing stalls waiting on an unclear ask.
Career Advisory
What do we cover during a session?
That's largely up to you, and you'll get the most out of it if you come with a question or two in mind. I highly recommend arriving as prepared as possible.
If you're simply stuck and not sure what to ask, that's completely fine. We'll explore where you are, what you're working toward, and what's gotten in the way so far. Either way you'll leave with at least an action step or two to get you moving.
How mahy sessions will I need?
Often just one. A lot of people come in with a specific issue or mindset to unravel and leave with a plan they can act on. Others check in now and then as they move through a job search or a bigger transition.
There's no minimum, you book what's useful to you, when it's useful.
Will you review my resume or LinkedIn?
Yes. We can dig into either during a session, or you can book time specifically for a focused review and walk away knowing exactly what to change and why. (See my store for options).
Can you help me translate Federal or Academic experience to the private sector?
Yes, it's one of my specialities. Federal and Academic experience rarely maps cleanly onto the private sector hiring, and I help you translate what you've done into positioning and language that actually lands with private employers.
I'm not an I/O Psychologist, can you still work with me?
Yes. Ouside of I/O, I specialize in HR, training & development, the pet industry, and retail. If you're in or adjacent to any of those, you're in good hands.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. What you bring to a session stays between us. I will not share that you were even a client unless you post a public review (which is always greatly appreciated!)
Will you guarantee me a job?
No honest advisor can. Hiring depends on far more than any one conversation. What you'll walk away with is a clearer direction, a stronger way to present yourself, and a concrete next step that genuinely improves your odds.
Is this therapy or counseling?
No. I'm an I/O psychologist by training, but this is career advising. Not clinical or mental health therapy. If something comes up that a licensed therapist is better suited for, I'll tell you and help point you toward the right kind of support.
What kinds of things can you help with?
Common ones: a resume and LinkedIn that actually reflect your value, job-search strategy, career pivots, interview prep and roleplays, weighing whether a role (or a PhD) is worth it, and thinking through a tricky situation at work.
If it lives at the intersection of you and your careeer, it's probably fair game.
Do you only work with people in the US?
For now yes. I advise on the US job market specifically, and I won't pretend to a knowledge base I don't have for hiring elsewhere.
However, if you are outside the US, I have some connections that I'd be glad to refer you to.
